Pvt. Alex T. Jacobs

 

 
 

 

IN UNIFORM.

Pvt. Alex T. Jacobs has arrived at Fort Riley, Kan., after spending a 12-day furlough with his parents, Rev. and Mrs. H. Jacobs, 1023 Jackson street, en route from Camp Gordon, Pa.  He has now been ordered to California.  His elder brother, Pfc. Jesse Jacobs, a medical student at Iowa university under Army supervision, and his younger sister, Ruth, a high school senior at Luther college, Wahoo, Neb., were home for a weekend at the time Alex was home on furlough.

Alex Theodore Jacobs was born June 14, 1926 to Hyman and Rahme A. Monseur Jacobs. He died May 25, 2005.

Sgt. Jacobs served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
