MESSENBRINK-INGRAM NUPTIALS
SEPT. 13th.

The marriage of Miss Shirley Messenbrink, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Messenbrink and Kenneth Ingram, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ingram, of this city, was solemnized Friday evening, September 13th at 8 o’clock in the First Christian Church parsonage, Rev. Everett Epperson officiating.  The bride wore a brown suit with yellow and brown accessories.  The groom wore a blue suit. Mrs. Marvin Butcher was matron of honor wearing an aqua suit with white accessories.  Marvin Butcher was best man.  Mrs. Ingram is a graduate of the Onawa High School Class of 1946 and for the past several months has been employed in Onawa.  The groom a few months ago returned from the service of the U. S., and holds a position now with the U. S. Engineers office here.  The couple will make their home in Onawa.

Kenneth Howard “Kenny” Ingram was born Jan. 9, 1925 to Elmer Leon and Grace Myrtle Cummings Ingram. He died June 30, 2014 and is buried in Onawa City Cemetery, Onawa, IA

Kenny served in World War II with the U.S. Army Aviation Engineer Corps.
