Men And Women In Service
Private Jack H. Howe, son of Dr. and Mrs. W.D. Howe, 3319 Fourth Avenue, has been assigned to the Pomona, California College campus for training in civil engineering under the army specialized training program. Private Howe, a graduate of East High School, joined the Army January 28 and has trained at Camp Roberts, California and at Pasadena, California, junior college.
