Cpl. James J. Holahan

Cpl. James J. Holahan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Holahan, 3311 Indiana avenue, who is stationed at an Eighth air force bomber station in England as a gunner on a Flying Fortress, recently was assigned to the 95th bombardment group and now is taking an orientation course on flying procedure in the European war zone prior to beginning combat duty in the air. Cpl. Holahan is a member of the Eighth air force Fortress group which led the first American bombing attack on Berlin. This group was cited by the president for its outstanding work in destroying enemy targets.
