LuVerne:  Pvt. LeRoy Hintz, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Hintz, has had some thrilling experiences during the last four weeks of his basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., including the jumping from towers 250 feet high and learning completely the technique of safe parachute jumping and landing.  He has earned the right to wear the coveted wings and boots of the United States Army’s most modern soldier, the paratrooper.
