OUR NEIGHBORS IN THE SERVICE
Correctionville, Ia.—Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Heath have received the purple heart citation that was posthumously awarded their son, Pvt. Ivan D. Heath, killed in action last November 18. He was an ammunition carrier with the 405th infantry in Germany.

Ivan Daniel Heath was born Oct. 27, 1921 to Eli Thomas and Mary Ellen Walsh Heath. He died Nov. 18, 1944 and is buried in Saint Michaels Cemetery, Kingsley, IA.
