PROMOTED
Harold A. Garvin, 1018 Douglas street, has been promoted to technician, fourth grade, at Camp Barkley, Texas.  He formerly was technician, fifth grade.

IN UNIFORM

Harold A. Garvin, technician fifth class, whose home address is given as 1203 West First street, now is serving with the occupational forces in Germany, his present station being at Nabburg, Bavaria.  He landed in Normandy with a cannon company of the 358th infantry of the 90th division, and is a veteran of the battles of Normandy, Falaise Gap, Moselle Crossing, Rhine river, Main river, and Czechoslovakia.  He wears five campaign stars on his E. O. T. ribbon.
