Eldon L. Funke, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Funke, 2210 St. Aubin, is home on 15-day furlough from Company C. quartermaster regiment, Camp Robinson, Little Rock, Ark.  He is a Sioux City East high graduate.

FIRST CLASS PRIVATE 

First Class Private Eldon Funke, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Funke, 2210 St. Aubin street, has been promoted to corporal technician at Los Angeles.  Corporal Funke joined the forces in April, 1941.

Corporal Eldon Funke of Van Nuys, Cal., is spending a 15-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Funke, 2210 S. St. Aubin street.  Corporal Funke is in the quartermaster corps.  His wife, the former Gladys Burgett of Sioux City, is with him here.
