Pfc. Darrell F. Frost

 

 

Son Is Missing

Mr. and Mrs. Finley Frost have received word of the death of their son, Pfc. Darrell F. Frost. Pfc. Frost was graduated from Abraham Lincoln high school in Council Bluffs in June, 1941. He was inducted in the army March, 1944. He received his basic training at Camp Roberts, Calif., and left to go overseas in October, 1944. He was killed in Germany March 10.

Darrell F. Frost was born Nov. 13, 1923 to Finley C. and Clara Cecil Young Frost. He died Mar. 10, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.

Pvt. Frost served in World War II with the U.S. Army 310th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.
