Pvt. Albert Flick, whose wife and mother reside at 1620 Isabella street, has arrived in the Philippine islands.  His father, William D. Flick, lives at 310 Market street.

Sioux Cityan with Infantry Wounded in Okinawa Action

Pvt. Albert (“Shorty”) Flick, whose wife and children reside at 1620 Isabella street, was wounded in action on Okinawa island April 13, according to information from the War Department.

He is confined to a fleet hospital in the Marianas where he will remain for 30 days.  He was serving with the 96th infantry division and has been overseas since December, 1944.  He entered the service in June of the same year and received his basic training at Camp Robinson, Ark.

His mother, Mrs. Blanche Flick, lives at 214 Kansas street.
