 Feller Awaits New Orders

Robert William Andrew “Bob” Feller was born Nov. 3, 1918 to William Andrew and Lena Carolyn Forret Feller. He died Dec. 15, 2010 and is buried in Gates Mills North Cemetery, Gates Mills, OH.

Chief Petty Officer Feller, a Hall of Fame Major League Baseball Pitcher for the Cleveland Indians, joined the U.S. Navy following the Pearl Harbor attack and served aboard the USS Alabama (BB-60) in the Pacific Campaign.
