Robert J. Entwhistle

Robert J. Entwhistle, formerly of Waterloo, smiled in Wadsworth general hospital in Los Angeles, Cal., yesterday after learning that the Waterloo Courier would publish his plea that his friends in Waterloo write him. Entwhistle, hospitalized for the last five months and critically ill, lived in Waterloo all his life until he enlisted in the army signal corps in 1942. He was discharged in 1945 and has since lived in California. He worked here as a commercial artist and sign painter and before going into the service decorated several homes that won the annual Christmas decoration contest. (AP Wirephoto direct to Courier.)
