TO BE CHAPLAIN
Fr. Woodrow Elias Becomes Chaplain

Rev. Woodrow L. Elias, assistant pastor of St. Francis church here since his ordination to the priesthood in May, 1943, will report Oct. 1 to chaplain’s orientation school at For Devens, Mass. He was sworn into the army Sept. 10. Father Elias will leave Council Bluffs Sunday for a short visit with his parents at Des Moines before reporting for duty.
