IN AIR CORPS
John Drees, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Drees, who is in the air corps, is in training at Jefferson Barracks, Mo. He was graduated from Carroll high school this spring. His address is: Pvt. John W. Drees 27th Tng. Group, Squadron D, Flight 34, U.S.A.A.F. He has been in the service about two weeks.

John Walton Drees was born Jan. 4, 1925 to John Andrew and Louise Marie Scharnweber Drees. He died May 24, 2003 and is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carroll, IA.
