NEWS of the BOYS in the SERVICE  

Jack Donahoe, son of Mrs. John Donahoe, of LeMars, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant.  He is at present stationed at Des Moines and engaged in convoying recruits to various camps in the states.

Sgt. Jack Donahue is spending a furlough in LeMars.  He is stationed at Camp Dodge.

NEWS of the BOYS in the SERVICE

Pvt. Jack Donahoe, who has been stationed at Camp Clark, Missouri, arrived home last week and has been released from the service on a medical discharge.  Jack has been in service for two and one-half years and was discharged from Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.

John “Jack” Donahoe was born Oct. 16, 1910 to John Stephen and Margaret Elizabeth Kern Donahoe. He died Apr. 6, 1948 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
