Thomas E. Davis, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Davis, 610 18th street, has been graduated from the Naval air training center at Corpus Christi, Texas, and commissioned an ensign in the naval reserve. He is a former student at Trinity college.

Thomas E. Davis, Jr, a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. E. Davis, 610 18th street, was commissioned an ensign in the naval reserve at Corpus Christie, Texas. He entered the service in June 1942, and received training at Iowa City and Kansas City. He received basic training at Kingsville field, Texas. Ensign Davis is a graduate of Trinity high school and college where he was an assistant football coach. He also was swimming instructor and playground director for the recreation department of the board of education.
