Robert J. Coyle was graduated Saturday from a flying field of the U. S. army air forces, given his silver wings and commissioned as an officer in the army air force and ready to bring on more headaches for the Axis.

Commissioned as second lieutenant was: Robert J. Coyle, Tama, Altus Field, Texas.

Robert J. Coyle was born Nov. 30, 1915 to James and Orpha Mary Underwood Coyle. He died Dec. 3, 1948 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Dayton, OH.

1st Lt. Coyle served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was killed in an airplane crash at the Muroc Air Base in California, where he was stationed.
