Lt. Col. Donald L. Clark

Alta, Ia.—Maj. Donald L. Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Clark, has reported to the Army Air force bombardment base at Will Rogers field, Oklahoma.  He first was commissioned at Kelly field May 25, 1939, and was promoted to the rank of major November 15, 1942. He received his R.O.T.C. training at Iowa State College and Iowa University.

Alta, Iowa-
Donald Clark, son of Supt. and Mrs. L.A. Clark of Alta, has been advanced to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the army air force. He has advanced rapidly since graduating from Kelly field, Texas in 1939.

Donald Leonard Clark was born May 8, 1916 to Leonard and Eunice A. Brown Clark. He died Mar. 31, 1985 and is buried in Forest Park East Cemetery, Shreveport, LA.

Col. Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Air Force. He retired after serving for 20 years.
