Pvt. Irvin Church

Notes About N.E. Iowans in the Service

OSAGE—The Leo Church family is having the privilege of having both its sons home from service as well as their families at the same time.  Pvt. Irvin Church arrived from Ft. Belvoir, Va., on a 15-day furlough with a delay en route to Camp Beale, Cal., where he will have a further assignment.  His wife and son, Steve, have been with him for some time, and will now make their home at the parental LeRoy Brain home at Newton, Iowa.

Seaman First Class Clifford Church has just been graduated as a radio technician at Treasure island and will report to Shoemaker, Cal., at the naval training center, for further assignment after a week’s leave.  His wife and son, Bradley, are at Pierson at the parental home, and now are visiting with the Church family, at Osage.
