Pfc. Clifford Chandler has returned to Camp Swift, Tex., after spending a 11-day leave with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Chandler, 1556 Washington street.

Clifford Howard Chandler was born Oct. 19, 1922 to Howard and Verda Luther Chandler. He died Dec. 19, 2000 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, IA.
Pvt. Chandler served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
