Cpl. Norman W. Caudill, whose wife resides at 1101 Plymouth Street, has arrived in Italy and has been assigned to duty as an aerial gunner in a Liberator group. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Caudill, 2908 Robinson Street.

IN UNIFORM
Norman W. Caudill, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Caudill, 2908 Robinson street, has been promoted to the grade of sergeant. He entered the army in August, 1943, and took his training in armament at Denver, Col., and in aerial gunnery at Tyndall field, Fla. He now is a ball gunner on a B-24 Liberator with a combat group which has flown more than 160 combat missions and has twice been cited by the War Department for outstanding performance against the enemy. His wife lives at 1101 Plymouth street. Prior to entering service, Sgt. Caudill was a drill assembler for the Albertson company. He is a graduate of Central high school.
