Sioux Rapids, Ia.--Ralph Campbell, for the last year and a half superintendent of the Galva, Ia., school, has been commissioned a lieutenant in the Navy and will leave at once for his indoctrination at Dartmouth college. Before going to Galva, he taught at Wesley, Ia.

Ralph James Campbell was born Apr. 16, 1912 to Thomas Roy and Margaret Adele Luse Campbell. He died Jan. 18, 1988 and is buried in Lone Tree Cemetery, Sioux Rapids, IA.

Ralph served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
