MEN IN SERVICE   

Kenneth Brucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Brucker, 412 ½ Myrtle street, has been graduated from primary training at the Cal-Aero flying academy at Ontario, Cal., and has been recommended to Lancaster, Cal., to receive basic training.

IN UNIFORM.

Lieut. Kenneth W. Brucker, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Brucker, 2618 Prospect street and husband of Viola J. Brucker of the same address, has been decorated with the distinguished flying cross, it has been announced by the commanding general of the Eighth air force in England.  He has participated in missions to Berlin, Schweinfurt and Leipzig.  In addition to the D. F. C. he has been awarded the air medal and three oak leaf clusters.  Lieut. Brucker is a graduate of Central high school here and entered the air force in October, 1941.
