Capt. Harley W. Brown

 

HOME FROM MEDITERRANEAN

The Harley G. Brown family at Ireton were delighted to receive word from Capt. Harley W. Brown that he had arrived in the States last Friday on furlough. He has been on the Island of Corsica, in the Mediterranean Sea, off the coast of Italy, having served about 28 months overseas. He has not been home for nearly three years.

He has a 30-day leave at home. He will report at Columbia, S.C., for further duty after completion of leave at home. This is his first visit home for nearly three years.

News of the Boys In the Service

Capt. Harley W. Brown, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harley Brown of Ireton, is spending a 30-day leave with his parents and other relatives. He has been overseas since September, 1942. He will report at Columbia, S.C., for further duties following his leave.
