Sgt. Kenneth R. Brady

 

 

IN SIGNAL CORPS

Private Kenneth Brady, who left for Army service August 18, now is training at Camp Crowder, Missouri, in the signal corps.  A graduate of Central high school, he formerly attended Morningside college and played in various bands.

His brother Gladyon (“Buzz) Brady, who enlisted in the Naval reserve April 1, is stationed at the Anacostia Naval Air Base, District of Columbia.  “Buzz” was graduated from the fleet music school at San Diego, Cal., and was appointed assistant bandmaster.  H played in several well known dance bands.

The men are sons of Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Brady, 1324 W. 28th street.

Kenneth R. Brady, son of Mrs. Mable O. Brady, 1324 W. 28th street, who is serving with a signal air warning unit attached to Brig. Gen. Earl W. Barnes’ 13th A. A. F. fighter command, recently was promoted from the rank of Staff Sergeant to Master Sergeant.  Sgt. Brady is a graduate of Central high school and attended Morningside college.  He attended the army’s signal corps school at Camp Murphy, Fla., before going overseas.  His brother, Gladyon R. Brady, is with the Navy and is stationed in Bermuda.
