Yeoman Donald Beatty

 

 

IN HOSPITAL

Yeoman Donald Beatty, who was wounded in action in April, 1934, in the Philippines, returned to the naval base hospital at San Diego recently, after spending a 30-day convalescent leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Warner, and sister Helen, 107 South Ninth street. Entering the navy in August, 1942, he received his basic training at Great Lakes, Ill., later attending the radio school at Northwestern university He wears the bars for American defense, Pacific and Asiatic theaters, and holds two bronze stars. After his release from the hospital, he will be assigned to further duty.
