Sgt. Robert H. Bayne

 

 

 

IN UNIFORM

Sgt. Robert H. Bayne, son of Mrs. Mae T. Bayne, 173 W. Main street, whose wife resides at 1313 Bluff road, has been awarded an oak leaf cluster to his air medal for meritorious achievement while participating in heavy bombing attacks against military and industrial targets in the reich and enemy installations in the path of the allied armies in western Europe. He is serving as a waist gunner on an Eighth air force Flying Fortress with the 385th bombardment group.
