Edwin W. Baron, son of Mrs. B. Nathan, 606 Virginia street, a former Sioux City attorney, stationed at Camp Stoneman, California, has been promoted to major. He is with the judge advocate staff. While practicing here, Maj. Baron was assistant county attorney.
