Pvt. Arthur Anderson, Former Sioux Cityan, Is Reported Missing

Pvt. Arthur C. Anderson, a former Sioux Cityan, with an infantry unit on the western front, was reported as missing as of about February 9, friends here have been informed.

The young man went into the service in March of 1944. He was stationed at Camps Stewart and Gordon, both in Georgia; and went overseas in January of 1945.

Before entering the service he had been a casket salesman with headquarters in Sioux City. He once resided at 3114 Morrison street.

A friend here said that he had corresponded with the infantryman on several occasions.  More recently the soldier had been stationed in Luxembourg. He formerly resided in Des Moines.
