MEN AND WOMEN IN SERVICE

Master Sergeant Harry W. Allert has been awarded a group medal at a bomber base in England, for excellence in maintaining a plane that flew 34 missions without mechanical trouble.  He is chief of the ground crew of a Flying Fortress.  Sergeant Allert’s wife resides in Sioux City.  His mother is Mrs. Peter Groskurth of Plentywood, Mont.
