GOLD STARS ADDED:  LIPSMAN, JOHANNSEN

Two more gold stars will be placed on the service honor roll roster.

Charles Johannsen was reported missing on Dec. 7, 1941.  His death was confirmed recently.

Sam Lipsman was reported killed in an airplane crash accident last week.

Both attended Carroll high school for about one semester each and were residents of Carroll county, the latter having lived in Dedham.

Two gold stars were added to the first plaque honoring Walter Neumayer and Nick Vasos, who gave their lives since Pearl Harbor.
