Wayne George Claude was born Jan. 22, 1919 to William W. and Jane Catherine Scheppler Claude. He died Aug. 21, 1944 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion, IA.

Pvt. Claude served in World War II with the U.S. Army 7th Armored Division, 87th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron (Mechanized).

Donald Joseph Cotton was born Mar. 10, 1923 to Earl L. and Stella A. Welch Cotton. He died Mar. 21, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. 

2nd Lt. Cotton served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Pilot on A-26-B-15 #43-22359, 642nd Bomber Squadron, 409th Bomber Group, Light and was KIA and awarded the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.
