John M. (Jack) Yergey was born Nov. 6, 1907 to J. M. and Charlotte Smith Yergey. He died Sept. 28, 1945 and is buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, Omaha, NE.

Jack served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

Rene Bruce Yockey was born July 31, 1926 to Rex D. and Helen M Rynen Yockey. He died June 16, 1944 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Yockey served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 24th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division.

Gordon L. Young was born Sept. 4, 1924 to Mervin and Veronica Dreger Young. He died July 2, 2015 and is buried in Banner Cemetery, Lawton, IA. 

Gordon served with the U.S. Army in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. His awards and decorations included, among others, the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross with one Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star Medal, and Air Medal with 12 Oak Leaf Clusters. He received the Presidential Unit Citation while commanding the 174th Fighter Squadron in Vietnam.

Harold Aldrich Young was born Nov. 26, 1919 to Harold Aldrich and Ina Isabelle Adams Young. He died Mar. 9, 1943 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.

Cadet Young served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Nathan Leo Young was born Aug. 21, 1917 to Fred Wells and Frances Clare Rosenthal Young. He died Mar. 22, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium. 1st 

Lt. Young was a Pilot with the 339th Bomber Squadron, 96th Bomber Group, Heavy B-17F #42-6099. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Raymond Leo Young was born June 18, 1925 to Willis R. and Mabel Mildred Greeno Young. He died Sept. 21, 2003 and is buried in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.

Petty Officer Young served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

John Case Younglove was born Apr. 6, 1918 to Bert Kamrar and Charlotte Case Younglove. He died July 18, 1944 and is buried in National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

1st Lt. Younglove served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
