Rex Duane Sexton was born Mar. 25, 1920 to Rollie Oscar and Marie Victoria Rasmussen Sexton. He died Aug. 19, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Pvt. Sexton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 509th Parachute Infantry Battalion and was awarded the Purple Heart.
