William Patrick O’Keefe was born Jan. 29, 1914 to James M. and Laura Byrne O’Keefe. He died Feb. 25, 1944 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

William served in World War II with the U.S. Coast Guard.

Glenn Robert Oliver was born Sept. 30, 1917 to Dalton G. and Stella Hilliard Oliver. He died Apr. 24, 1945 and is buried in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.

Pvt. Oliver served with the U.S. Army Infantry in World War II and was KIA on Luzon, Philippine Islands.

Clinton William Olson was born July 21, 1915 to Carl L. and Rose Anna “Rosie” Glass Olson. He died Sept. 15, 1944 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Olson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 12th Infantry and was KIA in Germany.

Harold Herbert Olson was born May 15, 1925 to Milo and Emma Specht Olson. He died Apr. 1, 1945 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Pvt. Olson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 157th Infantry, 45th Division and died in Germany while in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Carol Paul O’Neill was born June 21, 1917 to John N. and Elizabeth B. Schmelz O’Neill. He died Nov. 5, 1943 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Sgt. Olson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart.

Ole Opheim was born Feb. 5, 1906 to Peder Olsen and Ragnhild Hermansdatter Opheim. He died July 30, 1948 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

Frank James O’Rourke was born Sept. 21, 1922 to Frank and Fern Greenawalt O’Rourke. He died Apr. 25, 1945 and is buried in Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.

2nd Lt. O’Rourke served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 65th Fighter Squadron, 57th Fighter Group and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.

Earl Harry Ostmeyer was born May 29, 1921 to Harry and Florence A. Lotz Ostmeyer. He died Dec. 30, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Epinal, France. He has a cenotaph in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.

2nd Lt. Ostmeyer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 10th Engineer Combat Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division and was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters.
