Lowell Claire Buchmiller was born Oct. 5, 1922 to Fred F. and Mabel C. Moon Buchmiller. He died Dec. 14, 1944 in the North Sea when his aircraft crashed into theĀ  sea,

2nd Lt. Buchmiller served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

James Rodney Butler was born Apr. 2, 1925 to John and Hazel Fern Boyd Butler. He died May 12, 1943 and has a cenotaph in Willow Cemetery, Holly Springs, IA.

Petty Officer Butler served in World War II with the U.S. Navy USS Ranger (CV-4) Bombing Squadron 42 and was MIA/KIA in an airplane crash in the Atlantic area while in the service of his country.
