Arthur Rolland Gabrielson was born Feb. 1, 1920 to Daniel A. and Olga C. Gabrielson. He died June 25, 1944 and is buried in Lutheran Cemetery, Decorah, IA.

Pvt. Gabrielson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 106th Infantry, 27th Division and was KIA in Saipan Island, Marianas Islands.

Karl Anthony Giesen was born Sept. 3, 1917 to Henry J. and Nellie M. Bernatz Giesen. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and has a cenotaph in Saint Aloysius Catholic Church Cemetery, Calmar, IA.

Petty Officer Giesen served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Arizona (BB-39) when it was attacked in Pearl Harbor.

James L. Gunderson was born Aug. 22, 1920 to Leonard Olaf and Louise Rosella White Gunderson. He died Jan. 18, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium. He has a cenotaph in Mabel Cemetery, Mabel, MN. 

Pvt. Gunderson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 23rd Engineer Battalion, 3rd Armored Division and was KIA in Belgium. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, American Campaign Medal and World War II Victory Medal.
