Lt. Sampson served in World War II with the U.S Army Air Corps 308th Troop Carrier Squadron and died at Ft. Benning, GA in the service of his country.

Carl Axel Sandahl was born June 12, 1914 to Hjalmar August and Hilma Christine Gustafson Sandahl. He died Dec. 28, 1944 and is buried in North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Sgt. Sandahl served in World War II with the U.S. Army 2nd Battalion, 38th Infantry, 1st Army and died in Liege, Belgium while serving his country.

Earl Russell Sapp was born Aug. 27, 1919 to Alvin A. and Tillie Mae Werner Sapp. He died Apr. 26, 1945 and is buried in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Gowrie, IA.

Sgt. Sapp served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Department and died in Manila, Philippine Islands as a result of diphtheria.

Glen Dwayne Saxton was born Jan. 20, 1920 to John W. and Grace Leona Saxton. He died Dec. 22, 1941 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Saxton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pensacola (CA-24) and died while in the service of his country.
