Richard Maurice Peed was born Aug. 22, 1923 to Francis “Frank" and Ruth Gifford Richison Peed. He died May 17, 1945 and has a cenotaph in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Petty Officer Peed served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Chester (CA-27), USS Glennon (DD-620) and USS Douglas H. Fox (DD-779). He was one of seven sailors KIA when a kamikaze plane crashed through the anti-aircraft fire and struck the Fox during the battle for Okinawa.

John Lester Perkins was born Apr. 2, 1919 to Frank W. and Jewell A. Cashial Perkins. He died Aug. 16, 2005 and is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

John served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Charles Joseph Pessica was born Apr. 1, 1920 to Joseph and Caroline Brosh Pessica. He died May 8, 1944 and is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Sgt. Pessica served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was MIA/KIA over Brunswick, Germany while serving his country.

Warren Marvin Peterson was born Mar. 12, 1921 to Oscar Frederick and Daisy Lavinia Engquist Peterson. He died Nov. 11, 1947 and is buried in Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, Phoenix, AZ. Flight Officer Peterson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 326th Base Unit.
