Oscar William Oberg was born Feb. 19, 1908 to Swan Alfred and Theolinda Josephine Sandstrom Oberg. He died Aug. 16, 1944 and is buried in Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, IA.

Sgt. Oberg served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. F, 40th Engineer Combat Regiment and died in France in the service of his country.

Allan Dexter Oppold was born Aug. 23, 1923 to William John and Bessie Joanna Belt Oppold. He died Feb. 16, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery, Luxembourg.

Sgt. Oppold served in World War II with the U.S. Army 318th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division and was KIA in Germany in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Paul M. Orr, Sr. was born Apr. 26, 1927 to George M. and Gladys Marie Reckard Orr. He died July 6, 2009 and is buried in Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, IA.

Paul served in World War II with the U.S. Army Constabulary Troop.

Gla Erling Owen was born Mar. 19, 1920 to Charles Lavern and Hazel Elizabeth O’Connell Owen. He died Jan. 29, 1944 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

Sgt. Owen served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and was MIA/FOD/KIA as a crew member of a B-17 (Flying Fortress) bomber which crashed after being attacked in the vicinity of Frankfurt, Germany by enemy fighter planes. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal.
