Pvt. Graves served in World War II with the U.S. Army as a Cannoneer and received his Rifle Marksman on Dec. 24, 1943.

Pvt. Greenfield served in World War II with the U.S. Army 46th Armored Infantry Battalion, 5th Armored Division and was KIA in Germany. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge.

Edward M. “Ed” Grimes was born in 1909 to Charles and Maude B. Johnson Grimes. He died in 1942 in Japan.
Edward served in World War II with the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps and became a Japanese POW.

Harley Lewis Gunnerson was born Feb. 8, 1922 to Gilbert Lewis and Florence M. Holm Gunnerson. He died July 12, 1945 and has a cenotaph at the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Gowrie, IA.
Capt. Gunnerson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 77th Bomb Squadron as a crew member on a B-25 (Mitchell) bomber, which departed from Attu, Aleutian Islands on an offensive sweeping mission to enemy shipping targets in the vicinity of the Northern Kurile Islands, Japan. They came under fire, crashed into the ocean and sank immediately.
