Roy Marshell Frette was born June 2, 1917 to Wier T. and Hannah Olive Hanson Frette. He died Aug. 8, 1943 and is buried in North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Pvt. Frette served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in an airplane crash near Hamilton Field, CA while in the service of his country.

Maurice H. Fridell was born Mar. 1, 1925 to William F. and Nellie Johanna Kirchof Fridell. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in Lost Grove Cemetery, Harcourt, IA. He was initially buried in the 4th Marine Division Cemetery on Iwo Jim and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Pvt. Fridell served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 10th Amphibious Tractor Battalion, 1st Amphibious Tractor Group (Provisional) and was KIA in combat operations on Iwo Jima.

Robert Craigmile “Bob” Frotscher was born June 23, 1912 to Roy E. and Jennie Irene Craigmile Frotscher. He died Nov. 19, 1944 and is buried in Gowrie Township Cemetery, Webster County, IA. 

Bob served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

James William Frueh was born Jan. 28, 1918 to Laurence Anthony and Clara Pauline Schurmann Frueh. He died Sept. 19, 1943 and is buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Saint Marys, IA.

Cpl. Frueh served in World War II with the U.S. Army 159th Anti-Tank Infantry and died in an accident near Holtz Bay, Attu, Aleutian Islands while in the service of his country.
