Robert Keith Eaton was born Oct. 7, 1916 to Steven E. and Gladys Mae Eaton. He died Aug. 19, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.

Petty Officer Eaton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the SS J. H. Senior and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that ship collided with a friendly ship in the North Atlantic area. Immediately several explosions occurred and both ships were engulfed with heavy fires. At the time of the collision the night was dark, there being a heavy fog, and the sea was rough.

Leon Chase “Lee” England was born Aug. 3, 1919 to Max Rugg and Mabel Chase England. He died Oct. 12, 2008 and is buried in Utah State Veterans Memorial Park, Bluffdale, UT.

Lee served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 492nd Bomb Group, Heavy.

Richard Emanuel Erickson was born Oct. 26, 1923 to Obi and Hannah Swanson Erickson. He died Nov. 24, 1944 and is buried in Keokuk National Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. 

2 Lt. Erickson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 8th Air Force Photo Reconnaissance Squadron.

Dwayne Richard Essig was born July 24, 1922 to Theodore and Alma V. Green Essig. He died Aug. 7, 1945 and is buried in Fort Dodge Memorial Park, Fort Dodge, IA.

Pvt. Essig served in World War II with the U.S. Army.

John Elias Evans, Jr. was born Sept. 29, 1922 to John E. (Sr.) and Helen Richards Evans. He died Mar. 11, 1987 and is buried in Fort Dodge Memorial Park, Fort Dodge, IA.

Cpl. Evans served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
