Miles Ray Dean was born June 3, 1906 to Merle R. and Edith A. Miles Dean. He died Aug. 22, 1943.

Sgt. Dean served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died at the Station Hospital, Marana, AZ. His death occurred in the line of duty.

Robert L. DeLanoit was born Sept. 8, 1921 to Peter and Marie Louise Van Steenberge DeLanoit. He died Jan. 18, 1945 and is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Lt. DeLanoit served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 9th Transport Combat Cargo Squadron and was KIA as the pilot of a C-47 transport.

Robert Francis Demery was born Dec. 13, 1924 to Harry George and Mabel Quelentine Demery. He died Jan. 19, 1945 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Cambridge American Cemetery, Cambridge, England.

Sgt. Demery served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 577th Bomber Squadron, 392nd Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA when his plane crashed into the North Sea. He was awarded the Air Medal.

Theodore Daniel Demitroff was born June 14, 1924 to Peter and Elisabeth Murphy Demitroff. He died Nov. 1, 2007 and is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh, IA.

Theodore served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Leroy Delbert Dencklau was born Oct. 22, 1925 to Anton J. and Elfreida Koester Dencklau. He died Mar. 10, 2007 and is buried in Colfax Cemetery, Webster County, IA. Leroy served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

James Lance Dennery was born Apr. 15, 1921 to Frank and Emily Francis Hanley Dennery. He died Dec. 1, 1943 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Aviation Cadet Dennery served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died at Childress, TX as the result of an airplane accident while in the service of his country.

Donald William Derrig was born Dec. 2, 1922 to William and Florence Brundage Derrig. He died July 3, 1945 and is buried in Corpus Christi Cemetery, Fort Dodge, IA.

Pvt. Derrig served in World War II with the U. S. Army 83rd Quartermaster Corps and died in Delsing, Germany as a result of injuries incurred in a vehicle accident.
