Philip Joseph Schillig was born Jan. 11, 1923 to Albert John and Elizabeth Mary Spevacek Schillig. He died July 15, 1944/FOD July 16, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii. 

Cpl. Schillig served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 7th Service Command.

Charles Harvey Simmering was born Jan. 28, 1917 to John Jacob and Ivy Irene “Irene” Maitlen Simmering. He died Aug 9, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington, IA.

Petty Officer Simmering served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Vincennes (CA-44) and was MIA/FOD/KIA hen that ship was sunk in the Battle of Savo Island. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Roger Morris Stannard was born Sept. 1, 1923 to Charles Loraine and Eliza Jane Morris Stannard. He died Oct. 13, 1949 and is buried in Clay Cemetery, Rubio, IA. 

Lt. Stannard served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 65th Bomb Squadron, 43rd Bomb Group.
