James Robert Feehan was born Aug. 18, 1918 to James J. and Florence Edna Curran Feehan. He died Oct. 22, 1981 and is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

James served in World War II with the U.S. Army 741st Bank Battalion, Medium.

Lawrence James Findley was born Oct. 21, 1918 to Roy E. and Mary Ann Bowes Findley. He died Aug. 29, 1948 and is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA. Lawrence served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Carl Edwin Finney, Jr. was born July 21, 1912 to Carl (Sr.) and Nell E. Davis Finney. He died Aug. 24, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Lt. Finney served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Harder (SS-257) which was lost off Caiman Point new Bataan, probably sunk by depth charge attack. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Robert Arthur Finney was born Nov. 4, 1925 to Harley Hurst and Hazel Seaman Finney. He died Feb. 3, 1948 and is buried in Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, IA. Robert served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Wilson Owen Finney was born Oct. 4, 1920 to Carl and Nell E. Davis Finney. He died Feb. 29, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial and has a cenotaph in Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, IA.

Petty Officer Finney served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Trout (SS-202) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was lost at sea, probably sunk by depth charge attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Floyd Eugene Fisher was born Dec. 18, 1919 to Fredrick W. and Catherine Welsh Fisher. He died May 24, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Lt. Fisher served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 766th Bomber Squadron, 461st Bomber Group, Heavy and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart and Air Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Clusters.

Herbert Raymond “Hop” Fisher was born Aug. 11, 1912 to Frederick W. and Catherine Welsh Fisher. He died Mar. 15, 1944. His body was recovered May 12 and is buried in Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA. 

Petty Officer Fisher served with the U.S. Navy in World War II. He lost his life in a plane crash in Chesapeake Bay.

Charles Richard Flint was born Nov. 10, 1921 to Byron C. and Myrtle I. Henderson Flint. He died Jan. 24, 1972 and is buried in Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, Dayton, OH.

Charles served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Harold Edward Follett was born Sept. 8, 1922 to Martin B. and June H. Kirkhart Follett. He died Dec. 28, 1948 and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA. Pvt. Follett served in World War II with the U.S. Army 130th Infantry Company.

Ernest Louis Foster was born Apr. 2, 1913. He died Nov. 16, 1943 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu, Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Chief Petty Officer Foster served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Corvina (SS-226) which failed to return from war patrol in the western Pacific Ocean. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Louis Oran Freeman, Jr. was born Mar. 21, 1913 to Louis O. (Sr.) and Rose Greenuk Freeman. He died July 14, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Freeman served in World War II with the U.S. Navy as a member of an armed guard crew serving on board the SS Samuel Heintzelman when that vessel was reported overdue from patrol and presumed lost in the Indian Ocean. He was MIA/FOD/KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Jack Curtis Frost was born Dec. 12, 1925 to Harold and Mellie McClure Frost. He died Sept. 8, 2018 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Sgt. Frost served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.
