George Edward Eaves was born Feb. 18, 1919 to George Edward and Edith Jones Eaves. He died Jan. 4, 1946 (FOD) and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Eaves served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pompano (SS-181) and was lost at sea (cause unknown) off the northeast coast of Honshu, Japan. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Glen Willard Edwards was born July 28, 1919 to Ralph Willard and Ella May Schultz Edwards. He died June 16, 1944 and is buried in Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

2nd Lt. Edwards served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 3031 Base Unit.

Harold Edward Ellis was born Jan. 4, 1912 to Edward Alonzo and Annette May Morrow Ellis. He died Aug. 6, 1970 and is buried in Los Angeles National Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.

Sgt. Ellis served in World War II with the U.S. Army 99th Infantry Division and 1st Infantry Division on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

Rolland Eugene Ellis was born Feb. 9, 1926 to Ralph W. and Wanda C. Packwood Ellis. He died Aug. 19, 1944 and is buried in McCormick Cemetery, Highland Center, IA.

Pvt. Ellis served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 2nd Engineer Battalion, 2nd Marine Division and was KIA on Tinian, Marianas Islands.

Earl H. Emery was born Mar. 15, 1903 to Robert and Stella May Pribble Emery. He died June 18, 1945 and is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Sgt. Emery served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was assigned to duty aboard hospital trains. He died at the Ft. Baker station hospital, San Francisco, Calif. while in the service of his country.

William B. Eskew was born about 1917 to William H. and Lena Scott Eskew. He died Oct. 26, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery, Dinoze, France.

Pvt. Eskew served in World War II with the U.S. Army 157th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Ernest DeWinn Estes was born June 30, 1924 to Andrew Johnson and Della F. Baker Estes. He died Sept. 13, 1944 (at sea) and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.

Petty Officer Estes served in World War II aboard the USS Warrington (DD-383) which sank in a violent hurricane along the Atlantic coast. He was MIA/FOD/KIA.

John Howard Etter was born Nov. 21, 1923 to Frank and Fern Etter. He died Oct. 6, 1943 and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Petty Officer Etter served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA in the performance of his duties and service of his country in the Solomon Island area.
