Gale Delbert Dial was born Sept. 2, 1923 to Grant Wilson and Ethel Minerva Bonney Dial. He died June 10, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 7, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Sgt. Dial served in World War II with the U.S. Army Harbor Craft Detachment, Alaska Dept. and drowned when he fell overboard from a ship transporting passengers from ship to shore. His death occurred in the line of duty.

Curtis Eugene Dickens was born Oct. 29, 1921 to William L. and Gertie W. Dickens. He died May 6, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy.

Sgt. Dickens served in World War II with the U.S. Army 180th Infantry Regiment, 45th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in Italy. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Max T. Dickson was born May 28, 1918 to Robert G. and Ollie I. Hannah Dickson. He died Aug. 11, 1944 and is buried in West Grove Cemetery, West Grove, IA.

Pvt, Dickson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 331st Infantry Regiment, 83rd Division and was KIA in France.
