Wayne Joseph Sutton was born June 13, 1920 to Bergeo Lewis and Cecil Alice Lewis Sutton. He died Mar 12, 1944 and is buried in Sicily-Rome American Cemetery, Nettuno, Italy and has a cenotaph in Iowaville Cemetery, Selma, IA.

Cpl. Sutton served in World War II with the U.S. Army 337th Infantry Regiment, 85th Infantry Division and was KIA in Italy and awarded the Purple Heart.
