Laverne Paul “Paul” Fotsch was born Oct. 23, 1923 to Louis Paul and Agnes Reveda Fotsch. He died Apr. 2, 2001 and is buried in Farmington Cemetery, Farmington, IA.

Sgt. Fotsch served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was awarded four Purple Hearts, the Bronze Star and the Silver Star.
